Our Meet & Greet Service - A calm introduction for you and your dog

It’s also your chance to ask questions, walk through keys, alarms, or building access, and feel 100% confident before booking ongoing care. Most Meet & Greets last around 20–30 minutes, depending on your dog and the services you’re interested in.

Frequently asked questions - things that you might want to know about

The Dog Butler

How do I book a service?

Booking is easy! You can schedule a free Meet & Greet through our website, via phone or email. Once we've done that and you're in our system then you simply use our calendar to book right in. Any time you have an issue just give us a call direct on 07342044355.

Who will be walking my dog?

Your dog will have the same trusted walker for every visit. We prioritise building a strong bond with each dog, ensuring consistency, safety, and peace of mind.

What if my dog has medical issues or needs medication?

No problem. We can administer medications, follow vet instructions, and provide extra care for dogs with health conditions. All our walkers are trained in canine first aid.

What if my dog is reactive, nervous, or a rescue?

We specialise in caring for dogs with anxiety, reactivity, or special needs. Walks and home check ins are calm, unrushed, and conducted at your dog’s pace to ensure they feel safe and happy. Use the Meet & Greet form to share any triggers or behaviours we should know about.

Can I book puppy visits or senior check-ins more than once a day?

Yes. Many of our puppy and senior clients have multiple shorter visits across the day. Let us know your ideal schedule on the form and we’ll discuss options during your Meet & Greet.

Are you insured and trained?

Yes. We are fully insured and trained in canine first aid. Safety is our top priority, and we always ensure your dog is cared for responsibly.

How do you ensure my dog's safety during walks?

We use secure leashes, follow safe walking routes, and constantly monitor your dog’s behaviour. For extra reassurance, we also provide photo updates after each walk or home visit check in.

How do I know that my dog is happy?

We focus on calm, enjoyable walks tailored to your dog. Many clients notice improved behaviour, confidence, and overall happiness in their pets. Plus, we send updates so you can see how your dog is doing.

What areas do you cover?

We operate in South Warrington and nearby neighbourhoods. If you’re unsure whether your location is covered, just get in touch, we’re happy to help.

Is the Meet & Greet free?

Yes. There is no charge to request or attend a Meet & Greet. You’ll only be billed once you decide to go ahead with regular walks, home visits, or event support, and we’ll always confirm pricing with you first.

Where does the Meet & Greet take place?

Most Meet & Greets happen at your home so your dog can relax in a familiar environment. For walking-only clients we can also meet at your usual park or walking route if you prefer.

Do I need to be there in person?

We strongly recommend you are present for the first Meet & Greet so you can walk your Dog Butler through routines, access, and any questions. After that, we’re happy to handle visits while you’re out.

If you can’t find what you need here, either call us on 07342044355 or fill a contact form in and we'll get back to you straight away.
